Laser-Tech Overview
These clips outline ETECH’s
various laser-tech services.

tech projects.
ETECH prides itself on a 10-year
history of premium laser-cutting
services. The procedure is notable for
its high accuracy and repeatability.
Other complementary services
include press braking, inserting,
welding and an outstanding range of
metal finishes.
Laser technology sets higher levels and standards of
production for steel manufacturing. ETECH capitalise on
these advances by offering a range of precision laser-cutting
services. Highlights include the clean cutting of stainless
steel using nitrogen as an assist, plus the cutting of
aluminium and mild steel types.
Before the intricate task of laser cutting begins, two-
dimensional representations of components are laid out in
a computer procedure called Nesting. The final design, or
Nest, consists of programmed details to specify and
optimise arrangement of individual items so that, when
fed into a laser machine, the blank metal sheets are
processed quickly.
To complement its laser cutting services, ETECH offers a
range of Press Braking facilities. Precision technology is
used in the bending and folding of all types of metal. Press
Brake machines allow many production options -- from
forming sheet metal components for the electronics
industry, to forming large plate structures for the
agricultural sector.
Laser Power
To master any cutting-related
project, ETECH employ a pair
of Trumpf Laser Cutting
Machines: the L3050 (5kW)
and the L3030 (3kW).
